The Native American Rehabilitation Association of the Northwest (NARA-NW) provides integrated health, mental health, substance abuse treatment, and social services to Native American and Alaska Native people who are homeless or have low incomes. NARA-NW has been providing services in the Portland area since 1970. NARANW primarily serves people living in Oregon and Southwest Washington. The NARA-NW community health center operates one primary health clinic, a satellite clinic within the residential substance abuse treatment center, an outpatient mental health center, an outpatient substance abuse treatment center, a residential substance abuse
NARA-NW provides health, mental health and substance abuse treatment services that are culturally specific to the needs of American Indian and Alaska Native people. These services are often coupled with social services and supports that enable access to services such as case management, transportation, and housing assistance. NARANW has more than 100 staff deployed across four sites and in the community.
