The Student Health & Wellness Resource Center (HWRC) seeks to provide services that educate students about a variety of wellness-related topics and give them access to resources that promote a healthy lifestyle. The HWRC also employs a comprehensive wellness perspective, addressing mental, emotional, spiritual, and physical concerns of students. Below you will find links to some of the many services and resources that the HWRC provides. If you have any questions or if you would like to speak with Caitlin Steele, your BMCC Wellness Advocate, please email csteele@bluecc.edu, or click here to schedule an appointment.
BMCC Counseling provides assistance in the areas of problem solving, adjustment issues, crisis intervention and other matters of personal concern that may interfere with your academic success at BMCC to currently-enrolled BMCC students. We offer short-term individual counseling, (approximately 5 sessions). If you require services that are outside the scope of assistance provided by our department and/or involve long-term intensive or specialized care (in-patient treatment) you may be referred to an appropriate mental health provider in the community.
