Stepping Stone is a community-based residential treatment program for boys, ages 12 to 18, who demonstrate a persistent pattern of criminal behavior. Stepping Stone clients typically have a history of family conflict, problems with delinquency, substance abuse, and poor school performance.
The program includes individual, family, and group counseling, most youth stay an average of 10 to 14 months before graduating from the program and returning to home, foster care, or other community settings. Referrals are submitted through the Oregon Youth Authority and county juvenile departments.
Eligibility:
Boys ages 12-18 who demonstrate a persistent pattern of criminal behavior, a history of family conflict, problems with delinquency, substance abuse, and or poor school performance.
