Youth experiencing homelessness have a critical, but oftentimes overlooked, need for legal services. Lack of legal support can impact a young person’s ability to access housing, employment, healthcare, education and services. The New Avenues for Youth Legal Clinic assists in helping youth remove barriers preventing them from accessing or maintaining housing, employment, benefits, and more. Our attorney can support you in settling debt, record expungement, fine/fee waivers, felony reductions, name/gender marker changes, disputes with landlords, custody and family issues, and more.
Eligibility:
Homeless or at-risk youth ages 16-24
Intake Instructions:
If you are a young person experiencing or at-risk of homelessness and are looking for legal assistance, contact our Drop-In Day Services Program for clinic hours or to make an appointment at 503-432-3986.
