Equi’s team of CHWs works directly with unhoused queer and trans people, facilitating access to services, navigating barriers to care, offering peer support, and improving the quality and cultural competence of service delivery. CHWs provide basic first aid, triage care, community education and engagement, wrap-around support, and safety net services.
