Helping Hands provides medical and legal help in the following ways.
Advocates are available right now to:
– meet with survivors to help make escape and safety plans
– go to the hospital to support and assist a survivor undergoing a Sexual Assault Examination
– go to the hospital to support and assist a patient who is a victim of domestic violence
– assist with obtaining Restraining Orders
– assist with filling out Crime Victim Compensation forms
– attend court with clients to support them
